Soul Surfers: An Antidepression Movie

I was back from my daily workout routine. I was going through my Facebook page thinking to either watching a movie or read a book. Then, I saw a post on FB which mentioned 9 movies that can work better than medicines to cure depression. The first movie on the list was Soul Surfers. It is a sports biography on the real life incident of Bethany Hamilton. I am a sports fan and I love to watch sports based movies. I recently saw Rush and Southpaw both of which are a must watch movie.  Soul Surfer is an inspiration movie about Bethany Hamilton who is extremely talented and has a lot of potential to be a surfer. This is acknowledged by the people around her. One morning she trains for the upcoming championship with her Alana Blanchard. While surfing, unexpectedly, a Tiger Shark attack Bethany and she loses her left arm. After losing her arm, the life around her changes. Her family motivates her to return to surfing but she feels it very difficult to cope with the life aro...

RUSH: A 2013 Biographical Sports Drama Film

“Everybody has got that one thing which makes them happy and for me it’s terrifying terrifying speed” (movie source: Turbo) I was just browsing through the Highest Rated IMDb "Top 250" Titles. At#167, I saw Chris Hemsworth in a poster (Thor in the American superhero movie Thor). The rating of the movie is 8.2 and the movie is RUSH, so I decided to give it a definite watch. The movie was released in 2013. The movie is based on the real life rivalry between Formula 1 drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda during the 1976 Formula One motor-racing season (honestly, I came to know about Jame and Niki only after watching this movie) Both James and Niki are highly Passionate and Skilled drivers and both of them have something in them which makes them a champion of their own kind. James is Formula three racer but he is a speedy driver and races at high speed to reach Formula one. Niki’s family believes that the wealthy Lauda family is to be associated with poli...

Feedback : A Way to Look Brilliant With Little Efforts

I was recently reading an article on LinkedIn which was based upon a Customer's Feedback and Response. This article listed the personal experience of the writer's logistics arrangement and the price savings on the hotel he had booked while planning for a vacation. The article opened with the sentence ' In today's world where everyone is pushing for new sales conversions, do we really care about our customer’s feedback? Most of us might say “YES WE DO” but “DO WE ACTUALLY”? After reading the article, I just thought of writing about feedback because I firmly believe on the importance of feedback and its importance as a tool for enhancing one’s efficiency and effectiveness. Most companies usually ask for feedback because it is a piece of information which the company is better at having rather than none. Average companies may ignore the feedback as it may temporarily make them feel uncomfortable or unhappy, but the BRILLIANT ones ac...
