Trust Fate

Waking up early today morning, I geared up for my gym session. Before leaving, my wife reminded me to take the keys along, just in case she was in the bathroom when I returned. With the keys in hand, I set out for my morning workout routine, unaware of the role they would play later that day. As I rode my motorbike home from the gym, I felt the familiar buzz of my phone in my pocket. Ignoring the call, I tucked the device underneath the seat, between my groin and the leather cushion, focused solely on reaching home. Arriving at my new apartment complex, I parked my bike in the basement parking lot and made my way upstairs. But as I tried to unlock the gate with my key, frustration set in.
