Stories: with a Message That Inspire

Story 1  I n Japan, they have a deep love of architecture, and there once was a man named Kota who built some of the finest houses in all of Tokyo. His work became world famous due to his dedication to the process, his willingness to beat on his craft, and his relentless devotion to keep learning, even late into his career. Eventually though, Kota grew tired of building homes for other people, and he was ready to retire. He had been building homes for over thirty years, and he was ready to move on. He wanted to travel and spend lots of time with his grandkids.  One day, Kota approached his boss, and turned in his two-week notice.  His boss said, “Kota, we are forever indebted to you for the magnificent work you have done for our company, and we are so grateful you have worked for us for so long. We do have one favor to ask of you though. Could you please build one more house? It is a very important house, for a very important client, and everyone in the company agreed it ...

Searching (2018)

Usually I keep on searching for movies over the internet for a week and then watch the movie which I shortlist after applying my personal filter criteria as below.  😀 Good Story line  👉Mystery 👉Mind bending  👉Motivating/ Inspiring    👉Lifting up when feeling low   👉Fight movies  😀  IMDb Rating above 6.7 In the evening, I was searching movie and found movie SEARCHING. PROBLEM TYPES

Two professors who study the science of complexity - Brenda Zimmerman of York University and Sholom Glouberman of the University of Toronto have proposed a distinction among three different kinds of problems in the world.  a. Simple Problems e.g. baking a cake from a mix. There is a recipe. Sometimes there are few basic techniques to learn. But once these are mastered, following the recipe brings a high likelihood of success.           b. Complicated Problems e.g. sending a rocket to the moon. They can sometimes be broken down into a series of simple problems. But there is no straightforward recipe. Success frequently requires multiple people, often multiple teams, and specialized expertise. Unanticipated difficulties are frequent. Timing and coordination become serious concerns.           c. Complex Problems e.g. raising a child. Once you learn how to send a rocket to the moon, you can repeat the process and perfec...
